Volunteer Opportunity: Hike Docent Training

Become a Sanctuary Forest Hike Docent! Join hike leaders on one or more of our popular nature hikes this summer. Docents assist hike leaders by conducting opening and closing circles, keeping track of hikers, passing out evaluations, taking pictures and other tasks. No previous experience is necessary and speaking in front of the group is not required. There are two or more docents on all hikes and responsibilities are shared. Attend this 1-day training to learn the full responsibilities and tasks of being a hike docent, and give back to nature by fostering environmental education! Lunch will be provided.
