Scat and Tracks Hike
June 25, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Please join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, June 25 for a Scat & Tracks hike at the Mattole Beach in Petrolia. Hike leader Kim Cabrera, an interpretive specialist and a professional tracker, will focus on paw prints and poop, and identifying wild creatures by what they leave behind! Bring your whole family for this fun and educational adventure where the Mattole meets the sea. Meet at 9 a.m. at the Sanctuary Forest Office, or meet at the Mattole Beach around 10:45 a.m. if you live up north. The drive is about 1 1/2 hours from Whitethorn. Bring a lunch and water. This hike is free of charge, though donations are gladly accepted and help Sanctuary Forest to offer this program year after year. For questions or clarifications, contact April at april@sanctuaryforest.org, or call 986-1087 x 4#. Hope to see you there!
