Sanctuary Forest Radio Hour

August 30, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Please tune-in to KMUD on Thursday, August 30th at 7:00 p.m. for the Sanctuary Forest Radio Hour. Sanctuary Forest’s Education Program Director Anna Rogers will be joined by Lands Program Director Galen Doherty and Water Program Director Tasha McKee for a show about water and people! We’ll be covering the current state of the Mattole River and how it compares with previous years; innovative groundwater recharge projects, storage & forbearance progress updates; and our ongoing efforts to encourage coordinated water management through the formation of tributary collectives in key tributaries in the Mattole River watershed. Be sure to tune in and learn how Sanctuary Forest is monitoring and addressing the low flow problem in our local streams!

There may be an opportunity for listeners to call in during the last quarter of the show.

Sanctuary Forest is a land trust whose mission is to conserve the Mattole River watershed and surrounding areas for wildlife habitat and aesthetic, spiritual and intrinsic values, in cooperation with our diverse community.
