From the Forest to the River: A Hike for Kids

Join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, July 15^th for From the Forest to the River: A Hike for Kids. This is an opportunity for young children and their families to learn about native plants, aquatic animals, and the restoration & conservation work being done to improve the river habitat. Activities will include: plant identification, the capture, identification and release of macro aquatic invertebrates, and salmon artwork. This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate young stewards of the land and river! Meet at Whitethorn Elementary School on Briceland-Thorn Road at 10 a.m., the hike will conclude at 1pm.
